Ingredients

For the tartines:

1 blocDuck prosciutto
4 slicesRustic bread (sourdough works great)
4 tbspCream cheese, goat cheese, or ricotta
2 tbspMixed nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds), lightly toasted
2 tspHoney or fig jam
1 tspOlive oil (for toasting bread)
To garnishFresh arugula leaves

Preparation

1. Prepare the base

  • Lightly brush the bread slices with olive oil.
  • Toast until golden and crisp.

2. Assemble the tartines

  • Spread a layer of cream cheese (or your choice of soft cheese) over each slice.
  • Slice the Duck prosciutto as thin as you can (or order it sliced)
  • Top with slices of duck prosciutto.
  • Add a drizzle of honey or a small spoon of fig jam.
  • Sprinkle with toasted nuts and a few fresh leaves or arugula.

3. Serve

  • Arrange the tartines on a serving board.
