Duck Prosciutto Tartine with Nuts
A refined appetizer combining the rich flavor of duck prosciutto with creamy cheese, honey, and crunchy nuts.
Ingredients
For the tartines:
| 1 bloc | Duck prosciutto |
| 4 slices | Rustic bread (sourdough works great) |
| 4 tbsp | Cream cheese, goat cheese, or ricotta |
| 2 tbsp | Mixed nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds), lightly toasted |
| 2 tsp | Honey or fig jam |
| 1 tsp | Olive oil (for toasting bread) |
| To garnish | Fresh arugula leaves |

Preparation
1. Prepare the base
- Lightly brush the bread slices with olive oil.
- Toast until golden and crisp.
2. Assemble the tartines
- Spread a layer of cream cheese (or your choice of soft cheese) over each slice.
- Slice the Duck prosciutto as thin as you can (or order it sliced)
- Top with slices of duck prosciutto.
- Add a drizzle of honey or a small spoon of fig jam.
- Sprinkle with toasted nuts and a few fresh leaves or arugula.
3. Serve
- Arrange the tartines on a serving board.
- Serve immediately as an elegant appetizer or part of a charcuterie spread.
4. Chef’s note
- For a deeper flavor, warm the duck prosciutto slightly before assembling.
